re: Hannigriff and Ott making excuses why we shouldn't expect to beat Bama

Right. Civil I’m chicken little. Ooook.
The fact is you guys jump in every conversation to try and defend a person and not the program. We missed on the DL and that’s a fact. The guy you’re defending said we need to do better there and we didn’t. Many seem to be making excuses as to why we can’t beat Bama. We fired a guy (it was time) who delivered similar results
So you're not interested in civil discourse. That's fine with me but don't cry about not having a civil and open discussion if you're not willing to participate in the process.

The ironic thing about it, this poster was a HUGE Les Miles fan and did the exact same thing he's not liking now.

Ole Miss beat Saban multiple times for fricks sake.
Sure, I don’t think it’s faie to expect LSU to beat Saban EVERY year.
But god damnit, we shouldn’t lose 8 in a row and counting. And we should damn well do better than 10 total points against them in 3 years with 2 home shutouts.

Fonua is an edge players
We’re trying to win championships and we’re just stocking up on. 3* DEs

And he's not the least bit interested in a conversation about improving the program. he's all about slamming the coaches and if you aren't then you are the bad guy and on the payroll. At least he doesn't have to wonder why nobody would take him seriously.

Sammy if you had listened to the press conference yesterday Fonua showed up at 270 pounds and O said that he was capable of playing 3 or 4 technique. You are informed enough to know that the coaches evaluated him and they wouldn't have signed him if they thought he couldn't contribute. His star value means nothing to me at this point. It's whether or not he can play the game and right now it looks to me like he's a very good football player although a little bit of a between guy.

No I defended Les from the perspective that LSU would frick up the hire and they did. I know you guys won’t stop spinning and if you had to have this conversation verbally you’d fail. The truth is we just don’t have much subjective improvement especially in areas were it was needed The Offense

I personally don't give a frick who the coach is, but I don't see any reasons to bitch at the present moment.

This is the key trait of Les Miles loyalists. Defend his honor at every turn, which means complaining constantly about the current staff.

That's stupid.
The recruiting class doesn't reflect your belief.
Posted on 2/7/19 at 9:45 am to RogerTheShrubber
I should Be clear I am Talking about DL, specifically DE.
The rest of the class is stellar but the DL recruiting the last few years has been rough st DE. NT looks good thoughZ

That’s not what I said. Please try and keep up by reading my posts. I know that makes you feel better to believe that but you know it’s not true.

Now he's begging you to go back and read his posts. He seems to be upset that you might believe something erroneous about him all the while he spreads erroneous shite about other people. You simply can't make this shite up.

It puts a hell of a lot of pressure on next years class to produce a couple of players who can contribute immediately.
However the only real player we "lost" was Sophster, and I never thought he would be a Tiger.
I'm guessing they will also go after transfers to fill some depth.
Posted on 2/7/19 at 9:59 am to RogerTheShrubber
Honestly Sophsernis a “Miss” but I dont Think he will play DE at Alabam, and I think Think he’s play DE here for long.
He’s 320 now, and nothing about him reads like the kind of guy who’s gonna bust arse to slim down.
We will probably need to look at transfers and if there is a good JUCO next year for 2020
Realistically, 2019 is the moneyball year, but We need to start recruiting across the board consistently at positions like DE and CB.
We can’t take 5 one year and then sit for a few years

The 2020 class is off to a really good start on the DL. Looks like the guys committed now are guys we can hold. They'll just be playing a lot early in their career.

Typical post talk about a bunch of shite you dreamed up and nothing objective
Posted on 2/7/19 at 10:17 am to RogerTheShrubber
Yeah but it’s going to take those guys a minute to adjust.
It’s more rare that freshmen come out the gate on DL dominating than some other position.

This is why Alabama took so many this year, it happens.
We missed on Sophster, I'm glad we didn't offer just to fill slots. The two 3* rush specialists seem to have a pretty good upside.
