Super frustrating watching a guy get on base and score a run in a game we’re winning 7-1

Long season ahead for our players. Fans already jumping on a kid's arse because he hasn't got as many base hits as the fans demand.

He has been a liability at the plate since he has been here. I've never seen a more criticized player. Maybe it's not unwarranted. I don't think he can improve. He is what he is. Injuries are going to kill this team since LSU has to start a liability like that. Not trying to hate on the guy...but I mean, he is...

In all fairness, he wasn't swinging at pinatas. He hit the ball every time accept the walk. They will start falling. He will get three hits Saturday.

The way he hits the ball is the equivalent to a strikeout if you ask me. Still a horrible approach and he’s not hitting it hard. See previous post.

This is nothing like the old baseball adage, “o they’ll start falling.” That applies to guys like Greg Diechman or Cabrera who crush but hit right at ppl while hitting in the 280 range. Not sub 200 like Hal has for the last two seasons

You think everyone on the team is going to be a power hitter? When you find a college team with 9 Cabreras and Deichmans let me know.

This is simply a stupid statement. He put the ball in play every at bat except for the walk. If you can't see that as better than a strikeout then you just started watching baseball today.

This is actually one of the dumbest baseball takes I’ve ever read on this board.

How is Hals performance in game two? The sac fly RBI starts a new positive trend for him?
