was he from MIDLAND?

I lived and worked in Midland for awhile in the mid-70s. All I can say is that the Mich fans are even more delusional than the BAMA faithful. A few of the things I learned while living up there:

1. The Big10 will never cheapen the Rose Bowl by sending a representative to the minor bowls like the Sugar or Orange [this was just a couple of years before the big money of the "minor" bowls made the league change its mind.

2. The Rose Bowl decides the national champion every year.

3. No Big10 team will ever host a night game - that's for minor colleges in the south.

4. They don't feel the need to schedule any SEC teams - "we don't have anything to prove"

It was an interesting experience living there a few years.

OH i didnt give a shite who he was. Could been the CEO for all i care. It chapped my asswhen he started running his mouth. But yeah it was a typical yankee who thinks he is better than us ole southern boys. But i shut his mouth up quick. That could have been the reason i only got 1 1/2% percent raise coming up on my next pay check when other guys got anywhere from to 2% to 5%. But it was worth it.

Would this Yankee be from a suburb just west of Chicago?

Michigan fans have always been ridiculously snobbish...you don't find that throughout the entire Big10.

Yep. My thoughts too. Dow Chemical.

I don't see why anyone would get their pants in a wad over that exchange. The HR guy was just on another boondogle trip and 20 employees were wasting company time in a "conference".

Sounds typical to me.

So this a-hole goes off sayin how he cant stand Les Miles and how big of a d@$k head he is, and how overrated he was.

Being the passive-aggressive that I am, I would have offered a compliment to his superior knowledge of college football, and asked how high he thought LSU would finish this year.

Then I would ask him if he would have guessed that Miles could produce top-5 national finishes his first three years at LSU, and sit back and listen to him explain that one--Saban's players, I know.

I would then finish with how great the ex-Greenie--Rick Rodriguez--will be at Michigan, and how lucky Michigan was to get him!

I have a flying rat and his arse couldn't care less what other school's fans think about LSU coaches!

On the other hand, clueless LSU fans who attack our active coaches really pisses off my rat's arse!
