I am taking my daughter to the next home meet. The tickets are general admission and the meet begins at 2:10

My question is, what time she we plan on getting there, in order to get the best seats general admission has to offer? She's only 4, so the lower the better. Thanks to those who have been and can provide some insight here

Weekend parking is free, usually by the Stadium is a good spot,

Be there for 1:30-45 to see some pre gym action,

Football games last 4-6 hours, gym me no more than 2hrs. It’s a great experience, 11,000-14,000 show up, great sporting event to take the kids imho

Likely no lower section seats for general admission. However, there could be some no shows (not many though)
Getting there (inside) 30 minutes early will probably get you your best possible General admission seats.,

You’ll see some warm ups and the intros too

right, gen admission tickets are in the 300 level. I was hoping to get there early enough to grab some seats at the very bottom of the 300 level.

GA is usually behind where the basketball goals would be if the court was set up. The middle of the 300s has assigned seating.

Take my daughters to 3 or 4 meets a year and they love it. Very engaging the whole time, 1.5-2 hours generally. Real good time to get them watching LSU.

It gets hype too.

ETA: we got there about 30 minutes early for the Florida meet and were on the first row in section 313

I would get there when the doors open. Probably about 1230

Keep in mind that they're doing autographs after that meet. You may want to come a bit later than usual because you'll be staying later than usual.

Doors open 11/2 hours before the meeting begins. People are usually lining up early on Friday nights before the doors open. A Sunday afternoon me is generally not as well attended but I would still get there the hour and a 1/2 beforehand. The girls will be doing warm UPS so there will be things to see go put jackets on a couple of seats and go down low to watch warm up's
