While he may not be completely wrong, he is still just a hack. Defense will be much better -- correct. LSU will win 9 to 10 games -- correct. QBs will be vastly improved -- correct. QBs not ready -- incorrect. Josh Booty is better than Jefferson -- incorrect.

Anybody that mentions Josh Booty in the same breath as Jamarcus Russell and Matt Flynn shows a serious lack of personel evaluation skills. That said...if our Oline has a great year we should be a contender. Solid Oline play is the foundation for winning football.

Georgia, USC, and Auburn all have QBs with more experience than JJ fwiw. And Georgia is ranked below LSU and SC and Auburn aren't even ranked so not sure why you think they're "expected to great things". And Bama is picked where they are because of their D and running game, not their QB. If anything, LSU is being ranked too high because of what everyone expects from JJ.

i tend to take his negative comments seriously on the count of he tends to slant towards lsu. i normally take his positive lsu comments down a notch and his negative ones up one.

I can't believe you just said that? As a fan you should always be expecting success. As a Beat writer atleast use facts no your biased opinion. I know he may be right on the article but lots of times he is just plain stupid.
Those teams are all starting new QBs with very little experience and we will play all of them but USCw. We have better offensive weapons than they do but we are expected to lose because we start a soph QB.

Reasonable expectations are a great way to avoid epic meltdowns like we saw from our fanbase last year. If they had been realistic going into the season, they wouldn't have been as hostile to a rebuilding team.

IT makes no sense to not expect your favorite team to do good. Why in the hell would I ever EXPECT them to fail. This is part of being fans! Don't you think other teams fan bases expect to win? Everyone can't win them all someone has to lose.
While I have high expectation I will not go out and shoot myself if we lose more games.
The only way I would ever go into melt down is if we lost 6 or more games. That would mean our coaching has failed.

You must not have good reading comprehension skills because there have been several articles by dildeaux that was based on facts that were wrong or misinterpreted.

Shitty completion percentage or not (JJ's comp % is terrible as well) he made First Team All SEC, which is more than you can say for JJ or any QB on the roster right now.
