Dude he wasn't comparing cam to pp...he was comparing pp to all other db's. He was saying that he's getting mad respect cause he's the best at his position and a game changer whether or not he has the ball. The only reason cam was mentioned was in reference to the hype given to both players for being at the top of their respective positions and saying you should be able to understand such hype

PP is bad arse no doubt....

one difference between Cam and PP. Cam touches the ball every play. PP does not. You have to have to ball to score.
This was not with reference to PP being on the offense. This was with reference to Cam completing his 75% of his passes.
I was trying to show that with PP and Mo/TRex , that this would not be possible. When the WRs are not available , either incompletions or INTs happen.
Therefore Cam chooses not to throw and takes off - but because of the faith in the CBs to take care of the passing game, that really narrows down the rushing game and allows the rest of the D to concentrate on it.
BTW PP will get the ball on every Kickoff and Punt and there is a reason he is one of the few D/ST players on the Heisman watch.

The only problem with man coverage is you can run defenders off and leave wide open running lanes for Cam if he gets past the D line
Well, if the front seven cannot, in general, neutralize Mr. Newton, LSU will not likely win this game...

Is that the best you got? A logical non-sequitur!
Lets all play that stupid game instead - let me go first - LSU Vs Au three seasons 3-0 (with pick6 lee and sack-me JJ)
If you are having a serious discussion don't throw this crap around, it derails the thread and marginalizes your future posts.

Do you seriously think those last few defenses Chavis had a UT had anywhere NEAR the talent level of LSU's this year? Please. Those groups lived on good coaching and Eric Berry. You'd have to go back to the late 90s to see an example of Chavis coaching this much talent. Those were some pretty good defenses in case you don't recall.

That is part of Logic 101 courses in most good schools you fricking back-asswards-trailor-trash - not surprised that you confused it with fricking Literature, considering your background (or rather lack of it in logic, english or in football)

You registered just to post that garbage? That's a pretty common phrase, Cletus.

meh... LSU 31 AU 27 is no reason to feel fricked over, just because we couldn't beat you by 2 TDS.

Didn't notice , till you pointed it out, that it was from a newly registered Alter. I assumed that it was CPA or the other Camburn Eagle.

LOL! I realize that...a co-worker wanted me to post that.
I route for Auburn but lived in Baton Rouge most of my life and this game is difficult for me every year.
I hope Auburn wins but if not you guys are the last hope to bring down 'the team that will go un-named'
