FWIW, I don't know what Coach's motivation was to not play JL, but I do remember thinking during the game that the inside rush from Bama would massacre him. I am a J Lee fan but that is his weakness. I sure would have tried him, though.
I don't think Miles is "lying" about that. It was a legitimate concern, even if the nonproductivity from J. Jefferson was, too.
