He sure looked good last year when LSU expanded the backfield. It doesn't surprise me that he beat out Paris and the freshman.

He and T White give us an experienced talented CB tandem.

Not if Thomas beat Toliver out for the starting job.

Starting over anyone else isn't what I pulled from the article, him going lift by himself and catching an arse chewing from his parents, talking to the kids at his high school. That all says a lot about his character. Lock down starter or 4th string DB, glad he's on the team, you can't teach that stuff.

It was a great article. I always smile when I see young men at that age who "get it". Maturity is a fantastic thing to watch in a young person

I remember the thread from last year's game vs Wisconsin asking posters what player(s) impressed the most. Most answered Thomas and Goudcahux IIRC. He was ballin' til he got hurt. Am not surprised at all if he won the competition.

A. He beat him out

B. He still is the nickel when we go to that package

He will be a key contributor no matter where he plays.

It's easy to be critical of these guys when they get in trouble. Sometimes you have to take a step back and remember that they are still young college students.

We put these players on a pedestal because of what they represent to us. It's hard to imagine what it would be like to have your every action under the microscope.

It sounds like he has a good heart, has learned from his mistake, and is ready to fight for LSU.

He's another guy in the role of a Mathieu and a Ron Brooks. Send him blitzing from the nickel.
