Why?
Because the only coach who has won consistently at LSU in the last 30+ years has been winning at an unprecedented level at a school 2 hours away, all while LSU has been the worst program in the SEC and one of the worst major conf. programs in the country during the last three years. A guy who EVERYONE knew would be getting another major conference job at the end of the season. A guy who was exiled for allegedly doing what is ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY now (paying players, which, if you believe the AD gaslighting, LSU and their HC just figured out was important). A guy that LSU basketball fans, not people who pretend to care about basketball for 3-4 days in March, love. A guy the donors/boosters liked....and gave money to. That there is frustration watching all of this predictably go down while LSU seems happy to remain wholly irrelevant.
The AD needs to 1000% be called out on this BS. Loudly and often. If for nothing else, because he doesn't even have the courage to show up to the games and watch the mess he's created. You have a guy sitting in your own state whom you have proof can win at your school and the reaction isn't "let's go see if we can get him back and start being successful again". It's "Let's continue being awful for at least one more year and hope he leaves soon so we (the collective LSU brain trust who knows very little about basketball) can take another swing at hiring a basketball HC."
The program that is a part of the second most popular college sport in the nation and should be the second most profitable in the department is terrible, and the people who should care (administration) clearly don't care at all. This isn't "dumb shite". It's reality.

B/c the names like McHallman and the 200 other not-so-clever names that everyone keeps posting are just dumb. I wish Wade was here. I wish McMahon wasn't. But littering the board with every dumbass thought is fricking tiring. Wade isn't coming back, Woodward isn't getting fired. Get over it. Some of us like to come here to read updates on other sports, but this has turned into a Will Wade board and nothing is going to change.
