He is a young coach that is still growing as a coach and he is a heck of a recruiter
see my post above.

Wade is in his 17th year coaching, and his 9th year as a D-1 head coach.

When can we retire the "young coach" talk?

Serious question - when does Wade not become a "young coach"? After 10 years as a head coach? 15? 20? Never?

There it is again.

"Betta than Trent and Johnny."
it's like a new CEO who comes into a company that's losing money. The new CEO does some good things and gets company back to profitability. And that's good, of course.

But after a couple years of good, but not great, profits some investors think the company should be even more profitable, based on the quality of their products and the market they're in.

But others just say "well, the new CEO is better than the last CEO, so let's just stick with him" even though it might mean profits are not being maximized.

He's neither. To be the GOAT ( at LSU ), you have to have the best accomplishments and he has not done that yet. He hasn't been a flash in the pan either.
