You tried to point to him sucking as some evidence that he is going to be good next year, because some other quarterbacks once sucked but then got better. I pointed out that a lot of sucky quarterbacks also sucked their first year and did not get better, so your point is effectively meaningless. We have no idea if he will be bad or good, we just know that this year he was not that good.

Agreed, Mett must get real good pass blocking are he will strugle big time because of his slow feet.

ITS 2ND AND 2 WITH 140 ON THE CLOCK. YOU MUST MAKE CLEMSON USE TIME OUTS AND RUN CLOCK AND GAME IS OVER.
Its that simple, add to that you have a stud back avg 10 yrds a carry.
GTFO with Met not being perfect. The guy was sacked 6 times.

WHATEVER HAPPENED BEFORE..DID NOT MATTER OR ERASE THE ABOVE...
I am not that upset with the try on 1st down...but TWICE more was bad coaching... make them use their time outs.
A FACT THAT WITH LITTLE TIME LEFT....WE MISMANAGED THE CLOCK WITH STUPID PLAYS.

The fact remains that if we run on wnd and 3rd downs THE CLOCK KEEPS RUNNING and if we don't get the first down, Clemson gets the ball back with very little time to work with and no timeouts.
Sometimes I think the coaching staff has no idea that there is a clock within 100 miles of whatever stadium we are playing in cause they sure as frick don't pay any attention to it.

Exactly.
This is the situation. You need 2 yards for a first down and its ball game. Less then 2 minutes left. You have a RB on the bench that's averaging 10 yds/carry.
Why on earth do you pass risking an incompletion?
Then pass again risking another incompletion?
