Pretty good post. All year our offensive line sucked when Bama and Clemson and many teams start the same 5 every game all year. The D line and O line were left bare, previous recruiting was bad on those positions. O knows that Bama and Clem have 14 D lineman/LB not just 7. PLus O lines there are 3 teams deep, 15 O linemen on scholarship.
With that line Burrow had a better year than Met with less practice. Current roster has at least 10 O lineman either top recruits or experience and D line will be better and deeper. We are a couple of years away from a Bama or Clemson but remember it took Saban a few years to get there and Dabo was almost fired before he built that debt.
And O addressed kicker, went from worst to best. He addressed kick offs, were great in that department. He addressed punting, it was solid. All 5 top receivers are back, first time that's happened in many many years. 3rd year of Aranda with most of D back. I try to be skeptical but no one has done a better job in 2 years plus the guy just lives and dies LSU, he deserves a chance. Progress good so far. If we can beat Texas second game we will most likely be undefeated going into Bama, AGAIN. O will sell his soul to beat Bama this year. Hope it happens but we are maybe 2 or 3 years away from matching their debt. Geaux Tigers.

Debatable. He has done a good job in some areas, awful in others. Outside UCF game, defensive line hasn't been that good under him. He also continues to make AWFUL coaching hire decisions. He's more interested in extending jobs and promotions out to friends instead of pushing it in areas where guys have earned it like Raymond being the lowest paid on staff is bullshite.
I have no issue with E being on this staff but not as an OC. He's WAY in over his head. If his scheme is figured out at the beginning of a game he's fricked. It's not as much preparation is his problem as it is gametime adjustments. He has major problems with adjustments in the game especially with personnel decisions on top of very inconsistent plays being called.
Sullivan had no business being where he's at. Jenkins either. Old archaic coaches who hurt this staff more than help. Ran Canada out because of a little hissy fit because O shite the bed against Troy and he got his feelings hurt by Canada who was a decent OC in his first season. He's made several other bad hires like Robinson and Joseph too who's sorting himself out on recruiting finally at least. Still an overall bad hire. Not sure if Meatball or Cregg are any good too early to say. I know that the dline hasn't been that good and oline was horrible this season.

We finished above ohio state, bama, and fsu in offensive ppg and Offensive Yards per game.
Let me guess you think its better to be a tad better passing teams and vastly inferior rushing team.

They scored 16 more points against Bama than Ensminger has in his 2 games / career versus them.
As far as the 3 game skid - yeah... its hard to get a team that is TRULY EXPECTED to compete for titles to stay up once they've been eliminated, see UGA this year.
Still - McNeese game getting cancelled only thing preventing 10 game season.

but but but we have the best DC in the country and tons of talent AND with a much improved offense the defense should be lights out has been yalls opinion on why this years defense was in the 20's with great talent
