He grew up idolizing LSU but was committed to Miss St for over a year. What was the back story there?

Story that I heard was before summer of Sophomore year he either did State's camp or a showcase where he caught Miss. St. eye and was offered. Apparently Miss. St. called Catholic's coach about him and I don't believe he was on Varsity but was elevated not long after that. He was a late bloomer as he said. Again that was the story I heard. I am sure there are others out there.

Correct. Once LSU offered, he almost immediately flipped.

Remember this name, because I can almost guarantee you he will be among the first complainers the first time LSU trails in a baseball game.

Still in shock he made it to campus.
Listening to a couple of interviews with him I think it was a good decision. He just seems very young and sheltered(not the right word but can’t thing of one better)

LSU and college and general seems to be a better fit
