Get rid of the special numbers under the next regime?

Pretty self explanatory but should the new coach get rid of passing down 18 & 7.
I say 100% yes those numbers, especially 7 are poison to the player and the team. They contribute to a toxic culture where one player is more important than the team. Often times the players who get those #s competent shite the bed anyway.

Idk about get rid of, but taking a break wouldn't be bad and then reviving it down the line.

I still like the 18 tradition but the 7 tradition can go. Also they have watered down the 18 tradition by giving it to multiple players. Just pick one 18 and have captains. Dumb.

7 should have been deleted after Giles.

18 is supposed to be a leader and key contributor (Mauck/Hester). Curry/Clark have killed that.
7 is supposed to be a certified badass (PP, TM, Leo). Giles killed that.

We’re at a 50% clip right now with a new #7 actually finishi my the season without quiting so I don’t think it’s something that should be glorified.

Under miles the number thing happened naturally. I felt like o always forced it and it seemed like 7 specifically never could live up to the increased expectations. Delpit was probably his best 7 but he was banged up most of the year
