i think the only middle infield that would be better than what we have would be Schimpf replacing Lemahieu at 2nd, but I'm not gonna argue that, Lemahieu can't play anywhere but middle infield

i like nola a shortstop and dj at second and shimpf in the out field but here lately dj has made a few bad plays and so has shimpf.is the defense at ss really that much more important than the outfield or second.what gives besides josh.

do you get the feeling that a bunch of these people created accounts just to come on here and bitch about Nola? He must have banged all their girlfriends or something.

unfortunately, there really appears to be alot of dumb people out there

my question is, where was this push for helenihi today, before his one great at bat?

I love how people just think its good to plug someone in just because he can hit. Defense in baseball is important and Nola definitely helps us there. Maineri said himself that with Nola at SS he feels we can win the national championship.

I was for the change at first, but I now agree Lemahieu should be at short with Shimphf at second. Lemahieu has a lot more range at SS and can make a play on those balls up the middle. And in the end, it's PM's decision; So whatever he calls is right.

I'm not answering because I don't think they need to take Nola out of the lineup. But then again, I was one of the people earlier in the year saying that either Hanover or Nola should be in at 3rd instead of Helenihi, so what the hell do I know.

thats retarded...we would be fine with DJ and RS as middle infielders, and besides nola hits below .230..who cares if he did good 1 or 2 games that would be just like me saying start Helenehi just because he hit a bomb.

How about the fact before today when someone would say that you would just call them a fricking idiot, because you know all that is LSU baseball, but now realize that that might not be a bad option.

why do you people coninue to want nola out of the lineup? HE IS THE BEST SS WE HAVE!!!!! Period. He bats 9th and bunts/moves poeple over. It's not like the rest of the team is lighting it up. please drop this. He will stay at SS unitl we win the CWS and for the rest of his time at LSU.

hanover should be at second but i guess we dont have a good enough third basemen.it seems everything is out of whack but if you look at this team.its good enough to win the cws.so why is everyone on here freaking out.

Look above. You've probably got some smartass response that has nothing to do with Austin Nola.
