We have a pretty big group of us going to the Georgia Game! Does any one have any information on tailgating there? I went a couple of years ago but we did not have a good spot to tailgate.

Any information helps!!! Thanks!

When we went in 09 I believe, a group of people set up a big tailgate that you could purchase tickets to online beforehand. It was right on campus by the arches in Athens. I am sure something like that will happen again. Just keep an eye out on this board as it gets closer.

Our first time to attend a game in Athens and was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the info.

Is this somewhat similar to what a group from TD did 2 years ago in Tuscaloosa?

Coming in peace fellas. You should be able to find space on north campus if you get there early enough. This is the area just past the arch that extends all the way to the library. It's the prettiest part of campus and had been shut down for tailgating after the USCe game in '09 because it got trashed (combination of a-hole fans and not enough waste bins provided). Well the restrictions have essentially been lifted and you can tailgate with tents and music and what not (not sure about kegs). Most people don't know the restrictions had been lifted the last couple years but people are slowly starting to realize it and it's become a pretty fun place to tailgate again. When it's going full steam, I'd put north campus tailgating up against anywhere in the country.

I have been in contact with a guy that works on the University Police Department I am guessing and he is telling me that the restrictions have not been lifted. He also said that www.gamedaygameplan.com has all the updated restrictions!! Do you know of anyone else that I can contact to find this information out?
