Pick off on second and caught stealing with the top of the lineup coming up. Recipe on how to lose big games

Yeah that was a stupid call. Just bunt him over and let Crews and Berry have a chance to knock him in.

I simply can't agree with attempting to steal Bianco with your 1-2-3 coming up.

That's fricking some Mainieri level retarded shite right there.

The pick-off at second is inexcusable. The caught stealing is part of the game.

I'm not opposed to small ball, but small ball in the 5th inning of the last game of a regional against a team playing its 3rd game in two days is perplexing.

Southern Miss gave us one back by bunting their #3 hitter against a guy who couldn't find the zone. One of the dumbest baseball decisions I have ever seen.

Like I said, bunt him to second and we have another run right now.

coach mistake...and cost us a 1st and 3rd opportunity with 1 out in a 1 run game.

It was a fricking absolutely retarded decision.

No that was a run. LF was dang near on the track. Easy run. Given away.

I don’t think Bianco scores from first on that hit but at worst we’re first and third with one out.

Too early to play for 1 run. It was the fifth inning. USM is probably gonna score more at least 2 more runs in this game. Gervase probably won’t finish this.

Boggles my mind how often teams play for 1 run In college baseball, especially in an era trending back toward geauxrilla ball.

Bianco would have been on first. He wasn't scoring on that.

It doesn't rise to the level of being retarded. The catcher makes a perfect throw. Anything else and Bianco slides in under the tag and scores of Crews' hit.

Then Jay is a coach manufacturing runs.

In the end it was a baseball move that didn't work your way.
