Gameday dropping off car early

Planning on dropping a car off early when the lots open and then going back home and getting dropped off around 3. Kids are young so we can’t tailgate all day. Have not been to a game in many years.
Has anybody done this? What is the best place to leave the car for one of the free lots for ease of access after the game?

Park in hayfield or Gourrier South so you can exit to Nicholson or River Rd. It’s gonna be a high attendance game both inside and outside the stadium. Expect a cluster. Have left a vehicle in these lots in the morning before the game.
