Jack Bech looks like the most ready to go out of the bunch and Deon Smith looked good in the spring game with very little practice.

But man, Jack Bech is sure impressive on film. He looks like a whiter and bigger Jamar Chase. Hence, I'm hoping they can get him up to speed on the routes in a hurry.

They are going to move Bech to flex TE and he is going to dominate there.
Ever since I watched him I thought of him as a flex TE. This will get him on the field faster IMO. If we do get Gilbert back, he has to not only become eligible, but maintain eligibility, so Bech has a shot to get on the field along with Taylor.

This thread feels very familiar lol

I think Jack Bech's mom is the rabid downvoter on this thread. Why would you downvote people's honest opinion?

If what he and Walker Howard did to a very good Delasalle team in the state championship game is any kind of a gauge, those two will eventually be an entertaining, effective tandem.

Bech is probably the most physically ready of the bunch, but I think he will still be just a bit too small (right now) to play a huge role at the spot LSU is likely to put him (hybrid TE role). If I had to bet, I'd put my money on Hilton. He's not as big, obviously, but you see some similarities between his play and Chase's as a freshman. He catches the ball very smoothly and is pretty elusive after the catch.

The fact that there are so many different opinions on this topic is exciting as hell and speaks to how good that WR class is.
