Well there you go its unofficially official! This really couldn't come at a better time. With 2 months still to go until NSD and some big time recruits still possibilities along with the historical class coming out next year, this might be LSU's best hire in some time. FRANK and THE DON are going to be the best 1-2 punch in living rooms natonwide!haha

“Last year I drove 18 kids 9 hours to Tennessee for their camp. Frank was only recruiting one player, which was Tyrann, but we went there to support Frank. Frank met with all of our players, treated each one like they were the reason he went to work that day. Thank God I don’t have to drive 9 hours anymore!” ~ St. Aug coach David Johnson
Wow. That says a lot. Any chance Wilson gets us back in on Trovon Reed?

theres a thread about reeds comments on wilson over on the recruiting board. Wilson was recruiting him to UT, so there may be a chance.

His hire could be great with a new OC!!!
But YOU ARE CRAZY if you think we'll see a difference with Crowton in charge. Aren't we supposed to get better during the season?
LSU's NCAA offensive rankings for the year:
Week 1 - 78
Week 2 - 88
Week 3 - 90
Week 4 - 105
Week 5 - 99
Week 6 - 109
Week 7 - 112
Week 8 - 106
Week 9 - 100
Week 10 - 103
Week 11 - 107
Week 12 - 106
Week 13 - 108
It doesn't matter which coach or player we recruit, Crowton sets the gameplan and calls the plays and we are going to stay in this HOLE until he is gone!

I trust the people in charge to make the right decisions for the program. This hire is just another example that they are doing a good job at getting things back on track. Crowton is probably here to stay atleast another year and we're just going to have to see if he can redeem himself and get the numbers back up to his first (record setting) year.
