Some of the players in this thread actually DID have success in the NFL and did well. Maybe not hall of fame careers, but definitely some success.
Ones that I can recall being surprised by their lack of success, for whatever reason:
Derrius Guice (yikes), Sam Montgomery, JaMarcus Russell
I think Guice still had a great opportunity to shine in front of him until this recent domestic violence issue. Now it'll be a year or two before a team takes a chance on him, if that. At that point, he's up against tremendously bad odds to put it all together again.
