NFL coaches unless they had starts as college coaches does not recruit well. Especially one that have been in the system for so long.

yep and those are the same people that defended Retardo til the day he was fired and the same ones that are defending no lesticles. I guess most lsu fans are satisfied being the 3rd or 4th best team in the conference, I am not.

When you played was it your coach's fault everytime ya'll lost?
Awaiting your response.

[quote]How do you know when it's time to start looking for another coach? When opposing teams fans come on your board and tell you what a great job your current coach is doing!

We need Kelly from Cincinnati and it's not even close.[/quot

Piccalo player, what has Kelly done? Have you played for him or coached with him? Are you at Miles' practices?
What type coach did you play for?
Please explain why Kelly is better than Miles.

No, sonnyboy, it isn't. What coach would want to come here? After the treatment given Miles were he to be run off because he was a 10-2 coach?
Yea, they would really be beating the doors down.

This! Who would want to coach for a fanbase that would not be happy with anyone but Saban!

we no longer have superior recruiting classes. Would you be happy then?

What good is it to keep signing great recruiting classes to only have those players undeveloped under Miles? I would much rather have a great coach with a mediocre inaugural recruiting class, than a mediocre coach with great recruits.

If you win AND develop players AND are seen as one of the better coaches in the nation, you are not an easy target for negative recruiting as well.

Say what you want about his coaching abilities, or lack thereof, Miles has recruited great talent.

That's what's so frustrating. He doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to fully utilize it.

If he ever did, LSU would be the most feared team in college football.

I guess we didn't win a NC and have several top 5 finishes with Miles. The guy really sucks at utilizing talent.

Trust me...that would be a huge mistake. Worse than hiring Lou Tepper as DC. Seriously.

Because Miles teams have just been utterly dominated by the glorious Saban in the three games they've faced off..

Actually... not.

Our fan base is the most ridiculous fan base in the nation and this im positive of.

You'd swear we were in our second year of being 6-6.. Our only two losses are from the top teams in the nation.. and believe it or not... Other teams have plenty of talent as well... we do not hold a friggin monopoly on it.

Players don't just come to LSU because we are LSU. Take a peak at the 90s.

Anytime you switch to a new coach.. it's a very big risk. A retarded risk at this point.

This shite is sick.

Look at RR at Mich. I , like most people, thought he would win at Mich. He was offererd the BAMA job. I never would have thought he would fall on his face like he has.

These people have a memory of Saban that is so far off that one posted on another site that Saban had never lost more that 2 games a season since he has been coaching. You can not argue with delusional people.

Anybody can recruit, but can you convince the players to come here. Parents and players will want to see what kind of person you are. These are the selling points that are often overlooked in recruiting. Gerry DiNardo couldn't recruit players to LSU, neither Curly Hallman nor Mike Archer. There's an art to it and Miles is one of the best. Right there with Meyer, Saban, Carroll (whose in his own stratosphere because he has the west coast virtually to himself).

dont really want him fired, but i dont think he is elite....I think Patterson from TCU is the real deal..MSN Sports had a real nice article about him two weeks ago about how he will be the next big name in CF.

Miles is not even in the same galaxy with meyer and saban. LSU will always be the 3rd or 4th best team in the conference with the "hat" here. not good enough for me.

You are already wrong sonnyboy. Miles has an SEC and a NC on the wall. He will have more. Only remember, no cheat codes in real life sonnyboy. This is no video game. You do not win NC every year without extreme good luck and stars aligning like never before. Too bad you are either too stupid or to immature or both to get that through your head.

You are absolutely right. No one will ever want to coach at LSU because of the treatment Les Miles has gotten. I mean Alabama was sucking Shula off(as well as the 5 coaches before him) prior to hiring Saban. You are an idiot.

another thing miles does he surronds himself with the elite assiastant coaches in the game, aka chavis, and our dline coach secondary coach list goes on and on, you don't need to be an elite on the field coach when all your assistant coaches are
