Curtis Johnson. He'll probably go 9-3 with Tulane. Possibly 10-2. Heck, 11-1 if he didn't pull a Les Miles against South Alabama.

I'd have to think hard about each and every year, I don't know the answer.

But, as far as 2006, if that is the case, LSU 2006 was the most talented team in the land, only Fla or USCw in their company that year.

2006 team every bit as good as Fla, and if not for not playing to it's talent level, nor with a complete cohesiveness as a team, at Aub and especially at Fla..

Is the remaining run-the-table flourish to Sugar Bowl 2nd half Notre rout finish in Jamarcus' sendoff as noticeable?

That 2006 LSU team beats Fla if in a SECCG rematch, as Gators were shaky in 2nd half vs Ark, and LSU was much improved by then. Just needed to gain a split of Aub Refgate + bad gameplan, and/or Fla game of self-inflicted TOs + again some critical hosejobbing calls too.

Patterson had as many wins in his first year playing in the Big 12 as Miles had in his last year. To win at Texas Christian University consistently can't be an easy thing. You ever seen their stadium? It seats about 45,000 and they went 25 years without having a sellout. Patterson has done a good job to build that into anything.

I will say Les did a good job though with Okie St. too because they were pretty much always a loser as well and he had three winning seasons in four years there.

All of these Tiger fans think there is a waiting list of the best coaches on the planet waiting to come and coach at LSU. Wake up Les's is the best coach LSU has ever had. Check his stats they do not lie.

Give me the name of a replacement who would be an upgrade over Les
anyone who doesn't have a mandate to destroy lsu football, like Les and Mike Archer.

He's Cholly Mac 2.0, good enough not to be fired but too stupid to win when it counts. Doesn't matter if you win games when you faithfully lose the big ones, and 1/9 and this game offer more than a little evidence that our designed fate is to lose. Silly? Okay. Then he's an incompetent fool. Pick one. Crooked or stupid. Those are the only options.

like i said, i dont want les gone. however, if he was gone tomorrow, and we needed to find a realistic replacement, i think sark would be a good get. nobody hates usc more than i, i live amongst them, and he isn't a reject.

Fare enough just would have a tough time recruiting in this area. Les's has put more talent in the pro's than Saban did. Les is not and X and 0 guy, but his formula for winning is the best in LSU history. Fan's need to realize that.

He's a decent coach, but his best record at UW has been 7-6 and his teams are wildly inconsistent.

That dude is a Kiffin-level a-hole. I remember him bitching at a Baton Rouge reporter and saying "You don't belong here" in Tiger Stadium while they were trying to do a piece leading up to our game with them. I could see LSU fans and that guy going at each other.
