Assuming LSU will lose most of their remaining games because they hit a rough stretch is as dumb as assuming LSU would win most of their remaining games because they had a good start to conference play.

They will barely make the big dance. They will lose in the first game if the SEC and then sneak in the tourney only to disappoint. This team just doesn't have it.

When is the last time LSU basketball made the tourney two years in a row? What you outlined above is not as bad a scenario as some people think.

Believe 05-06
At worst it gets guys tourney experience. We lost a lot of talent plus the recruits with the end of last year. Consistently making the tournament was the goal in rebuilding the program imo with a nice run every couple of years. Wade just skipped a step and won the conference in year 2 raising the expectations (which isn’t a bad thing)
The fact that this board is melting like this just shows how far the program has come under him. We can beat or lose to anyone in the country right now. Get Manning up to speed and hopefully we can go on a run

So. This team has some potential. They are being coached poorly as of this point. And as far as making the tourney???? Just look at last night's crowd for a must win game..... Sad.

Not sure what you're referring to. It was a full house if not noisy. The team played like shite the first 14 minutes of the second half.

There's no excuse for poor coaching! Even the games we barely won, we should have won by double digits if we had a coach that knew how to make adjustments during the game. If this team wins anymore games, it will be because we have more talent, not because of coaching!
