Lots of less than admirable play, but it basically boils down to less than average Oline play. The Oline is only as good as its weakest link, and unfortunately on any given play any of them could and have been that weakest link. LSU just needs more talent and it will take at least 2 years to great recruiting and coaching. LSU's track record in both of those areas has been dismal for several years running now. No offense can operate with a weak Oline, so that is where we need to start. then the really skilled players show up because they know they have a chance at real success.

Not enough designed runs
Not enough RPOs
Not enough diversity in the run scheme.

We’re still just running inside zone.

I think we could go faster.

Offense is centered around a freshmen TE

WRs are subbing every play lol

WRs are running deep outside routes, with an OL that’s beat up and can’t hold blocks.

No running game

No emphasis to attack the middle of the field with the WRs on a consistent basis. Someone posted the passing chart from Saturday…that was alarming and shows 90% of passes outside the hash (hello Cam Cameron)

All that with a QB that is afraid to take chances on 1-1 50/50 matchups out of fear of turning it over and losing the game…which leads to not sustaining drives and staying out of the endzone…which loses games lol.

We went after a mobile QB, but we scheme to throw the ball around like Desmond Ridder did

fun fact: Ridder had close to 600 yds rushing in each of his 1st 3 years. When he limited his running (cut those yards in half), his last year he increased his total yards, ypa, and passer rating to the best of his career

So our offense should have kept Myles with max protection, rather than experiment with a mobile QB in the SEC. And before you say it was Ridders experience, this is also Jaydens 4th year as a starting QB. Right now JD has more rushing yards than Ridder did in all 14 games last year

I don't know why people can't understand that if you pose no threat of a down field pass, an SEC defense will sell out to stop the run and dare you to beat them with your arm. Daniels can't and that's a fact. I don't care how good of an OL you have you aren't running against an SEC team with a loaded box when there is no passing threat. I bet Miss State wishes they could redo that game and sell out on the run. I can't believe it took this long but that is all we will see from now on. This is on Kelly and his QB talent evaluation. I don't know what he was expecting from a guy failing in the PAC.

Qb and scheme don’t match. Scheme is fine with a different qb.
