Ranking suggest this is the case...for now. If we beat LSU (and I believe we will), Alabama will be the best team in the country. Sorry boss but that's the way the system works. If the roles were reversed I would be pissed about having to play LSU again too no question. Only because I know that LSU has the best chance of any team in the country to ruin our season and take the championship.
If Bama wins, we are the champs.

Some in the Media have already stated if LSU loses a close one to Alabama, LSU may still win the AP title. This is due to an even record against Alabama, LSU's 13 wins to Bama's 12, LSU being SEC West champs, being SEC champs, and playing a much more difficult schedule.
I know LSU fans hate the AP poll after USC's in 2003, but I wouldn't mind that at all in a worst case scenario. If this did happen and compared both team's seasons, LSU has had a better season hands down.

I agree with this, while i maintain that LSU is the better team there is certainly a strong threat of Alabama ruining the perfect season. Id put money straight up on my tigers but it will be a battle for sure. Lookin forward to partying in Nola with you gumps
