Its a damn message board.....When you do good we talk about it, When you do bad we talk about it....Some people do take it too far but for the most part its just discussion.

So I take it that if you ever have a son that has the skills to get a D1 scholarship, you will welcome the "fans" verbally abusing him if he doesn't live up to their expectations? if i have a son who is high profile enough to play for a top football school like LSU he will be raised to understand that this fame, and all the benefits that come with it, comes at a price. if he can't accept the price, don't take the opportunity

How about focusing on the good instead of the negative? Most on this board want to see JJ start, and that should be what we see in the Fall. Give the bashing a rest ... why should picks by the 2nd or 3rd string QB be "news" on this board?

Exactly ... and from all indications, JL has handled things very well, in spite of the BS spewed on this site. But the question remains, if your son had performed like JL, would the abuse seen in posts on this board be justified?

If i had to take a guess, JL doesnt give a damn about what a bunch of geeks on a mess baord have to say neg towards him.
As I said earlier, this board is not a true indication of what most LSU fans think.

Well obviously every father would be offended, but I mean thats the responsibility of parents, they are suppose to stick up for their kids whether they throw 500 pick 6's or not, the parents should think that there kid is the best. But its also the responsibility to teach their kid that it doesn't matter what other people think, all that matters is that you try your best and who gives a frick what people in the media or fans think!!!
And I think JL has handles this very well, and for that I would say he was raised by excellent parents who of course take it personally all the crap that is said about him, and as well they should!!
