Is D-LO Denagelo Benton? It seemed like Randal Mackey played 10 years of HS football. LOL He started off at, I think it was Port Sulfur or Sulfur, not sure. He led his team to the Dome and then transferred to Bastrop after Katrina. He was a very good QB.

Randle was good as a junior in 2011, but Beckham was just a freshman. Beckham was better by his junior year.

Yes DLO is Deangelo Benton. I played at Bastrop with Mackey and Reub (Randle) and Josh Downs. Only went to high school in Bastrop for 2 years and got 2 rings.

And yes Mackey was a beastly QB. Didn’t lose one game from sophomore year through graduation. Could throw a ball 80 yards easy but still was turned into a WR in college.
