Look up Skip's record for midweek games.

Don't need to. I already know he never had a losing record in midweek games vs. in-state teams. This team does.

These midweek games mean nothing,

I understand. Even though no official source anywhere has ever confirmed the consensus on this board that these games do not count, and every record-keeping body includes them in our won-lost record, apparently they do not count. We get it.

So, why do the other teams play so hard in a game that doesn't count? Why does everyone keep including these games in our record? Why did none of our championship teams ever go worse than 12-5 in midweek games against in-state opponents? I just can't understand why all these people involved are doing all this for a game that, for all purposes, did not happen.

They count for leagues trying to get two bids. They count for trams trying to host regionals and supers.

RPI #29 SELU also.
One look at ranking who he's heard of, it's obvious he's clueless.

Their mid-week games... they are essentially scrimmages.
Let's see how we do in the SEC before we freak out!

That's ridiculous to think about those games like that when they can absolutely get you sent on the road for post-season play.

Right. Mid-major leagues only. Not PAC 10, SEC,ACC,BIG 12 leagues. These conferences are stronger top to bottom. Mid-week losses don't mean shite if you take care of business in league play.
