On Golic and Wingo saying that Ohio St. passes LSU next week(OK maybe) but then says Clemson may pass LSU also.

It's becoming more and more difficult to sugarcoat that defensive performance last Saturday night.

it's possible finebaum is just saying what he thinks they'll do. the committee loves ohio state, although ohio state will look more like another good team when they play their next 2 games. Clemson is a good team no doubt but you cannot gauge how good because they don't play anyone. I don't see Clemson jumping lsu - that would be a total travesty.

Objectively speaking, I think the committee has to decide rankings based on which teams are playing the most balanced football on both sides. After Sat., I don't think anyone from the top 3 programs should be offended if they aren't ranked #1, including us. We arguably have the worst defense in the top-10 and the other 2 haven't played anyone. The lasting image from the weekend for the committee will be our D being shredded by Ole Miss and that's gonna be hard to work around.
