I love the talk from Saban, radio talking heads, Ala. faithful, etc. about "missed" opportunities. Consider the blocked FG acceptable and give 'Bama 2 LONG field goals just for grins. Subtract Shep NOT falling down on easy walk in TD and the sure handed Randle coming up w JJ's pass in end zone and LSU still wins 14-12. We'll just ignore the fact that the 'Bama kicker didn't have the leg to make FG from 50+ yards anyway.

Yes I agree if we play the what if game, that would sum it up pretty good...

LSU had three. Bad pass to Shep when he was wide open, Ford stepping out and Randle dropping a sure TD.

The loosing team always talks like this and forgets about the opportunity the wining team missed… Just like Georgia in ’03 for example

I hate playing the what if game! Yes if each offense executed a few things better there would have been a few touchdowns. But that's what great defenses do. They disrupt offenses and break up and plan or schemes. The only thing our D could have done better was bring more pressure but that was because of a good bama OL.

We won it by being solid on every phase of the game. Offense, Defense, and special teams. Bama only had 2 of the 3 working

Good catch. 3rd one was in OT. I was thinking regulation. Ford was awesome last night w his speed and tenacity on contact. He's developing into a great runner.

What if Alabama stopped being greedy and just tried to get 4-5 yards on 3rd and 15 in OT? They probably would have gotten a FG, and things would have been more interesting. Maybe Saban lost faith in his kickers.

Ford's burst after he turns the corner is second to none.

According to a lot of bama fans, the tide would have scored 50 if not for Reid's "bogus" int.

"IF" my aunt had a pair.....she'd be my uncle.

The 'if' scenario rears its ugly head every year. I'm glad that I get to ask myself...."IF we win out, can I get tickets to the Dome?"
