but then they shot him like 5-6 times in the chest, point blank, while holding him down. That shouldn't have happened, as they were on top of him and he seemed pretty restrained. I agree if he was going for his gun, then yea, you gotta shoot him before he gets to it.
But Fournette's opinion could literally be that they, 2 cops, should have been able to restrain 1 man without having to shoot him in the chest. I'm actually pretty positive he'd say just that.

And even if the cops drove up to him and shot him in the face as he was walking through the line at a grocery store for no reason, I will never agree with wearing the shirt with a picture of a child molester and woman beater on it. Being killed unjustly, doesnt make someones life any more worth while.

I'm not here to take up for Sterling, because on all accounts, he was not a good person. But if he's a child molester, then so is Jeremy Hill. What he did was deplorable, and there's no need to sensationalize it.
And the shirt is more of a symbol of of what Fournette believes is going on in the black community with police. I think that's pretty obvious. Whether I agree with it is irrelevant, even though I've made it clear I do not.
