As much as I love being able to call LSU “NFLSU” that hasn’t gotten us shite the past 8 years. We have a right to be selfish and still appreciate what kids like white have done for the university and program but to hell with the NFL. I want to win football games and enjoy amazing football and tailgating like we have from 2000-2011. So let’s be like Clemson and be selfish and want our players coming back.

Pointing out reasons it would be in his best interest to go does not equal not wanting him at LSU next season.

Of course, I would love him back playing for LSU, but I don't think it would be a wise decision.

In order for LSU to be a playoff team, players are going to have to come back. It's that simple really.

We can't get there with all of our good players leaving their Junior year.

When O got hired, I said he had to to 3 things:
1. Change the culture surrounding the QB position
2. Recruit as well as Bama
3. Find a way to get players that weren't first rounders to come back for their Senior year.

THIS IS THE FORMULA. Just look at the Championship game and apply the top 3. And I think O must have this in every meeting room because he sure seems to get it.

Why the animosity with the end goal of all these players that come to LSU? Their end goal since beginning in flag football is to be a pro one day. What on earth are you talking about? Do you think high school baseball players wish they could stay in AA or AAA ball forever? No, they want to go to the Big leagues.

On signing day they are choosing a university to prepare them for the next level, not to stay here or any university forever.

I think one of the aspects about players coming back for their senior years that is not really talked about is the chain reaction. A junior leaves early for the draft this year throwing a redshirt soph into the starting lineup for 2019. That redshirt soph has a rough going to start the season but by the end of the year is showing promise. Redshirt soph declares for next years draft because he is projected in the third or fourth round based off potential. Its a scenario that has similarly played out for over a decade at LSU and like it or not we just do not reload the way Bama does who we have to play every year. Getting some of these guys to come back is crucial for the success of lsu football.

That’s different than wanting him to go. There have been people that said they want him to go like CP3 said. That’s bullshite. You should never want a program changing player such as White to leave. If he does we could all agree that it’s the best decision. But do we want it? Hell no. I don’t for sure. DW is a game changer. I want to be selfish too so we can win.

You just realizing this now, how in the hell is leaving early good for the program?
