Penalties for inaccurate or late reports range from $25,000 to $100,000 for football and can include "accountability measures" for head coaches. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey has discretion to administer penalties as appropriate based on the circumstances.

It isn’t a troll
the ability to prove such an infraction is impossible unless you make that player OUT and then they play. Doubtful and questionable are really saying, maybe, maybe not.

That's a non-issue

Plus, you think lane cares about $100k fine if it means he has a major edge in the game? The guy has already demonstrated he will do ANYTHING to win .

It’s bizarre that most of you here can’t put this together

You realize the whole point of this troll is to make the other team not know who's playing, right?

when the other team suspects a player is injured but doesn't know for sure,

This is the same team Lane coaches at for several years prior, right?

I think Lane thinks injury reports are a BS part of the job that only serves to benefit certain people. Maybe Lane abuses the system to draw attention to it. "Ok, if you don't fix it, next week the whole team will be doubtful."

Seriously though, why does anyone NEED to know if a player is out in college football? It's strictly for the gamblers.

Wishful thinking on the part of LSU fans (and im right there with em. Hope like hell he plays and is 100%)

He just got through telling the team "all the attention is on me this week. You guys just relax and focus on football"

IMO no way he would pull off a stunt like that puts his starting QB front and center just to troll Sloppy Pete or send a middle finger to Stankey.

If kiffin thinks this could potentially troll or “trick” ole miss, where he was for several years, then he’s dumber than I thought and this is nowhere near “4d chess”
