I was posiitive a few days ago but i've reconsidered and there is no way I can expect any better than a 10 win season this year & that includes the bowl game. No team can absorb the losses LSU has taken with all these NFL defections and expect to contend for a SEC or NC. This is based on the schedule and the losses on OL and DL. If you consider yourself a true Tiger fan, 2013 wii be a loyalty gut check.

2013 will be a free pass for Miles. All those players leaving makes for a great excuse.

Special Teams: Checked and ready to go.

Defense: Checked and reloading.

Offense: Out to lunch. Will be same old same. Maybe worse.

No less than 8. I think they could get to 10 with a little luck.

Hahahaha. 10 wins next year and that's a gut check? !?! I think you might need to understand realistic expectations.

8-4, maybe 7-5 if TCU wins opener. Miles gets another extension. No raise.

10 wins just means you crack the top 25 these days. I'm sure LSU can maintain that.

For the past 3 years we've expected to be in the SEC Championship and had a realistic shot. My point is that kind of expectation this season is not realistic IMO.

No, that's top 15.

8 wins - bad season
9 wins - disappointing
10 wins - good
11 wins - great
12 wins - phenomenal
13 wins - unbelievable
14 wins - never happened

A good season is a realistic goal for LSU standards with this schedule.

6-6 If miles makes no changes on O,(an OC),10-2 if he hires a good oc and lets him run the O. We won because of chavis great D! Now with these losses even chavis cant't pull it out.

True. But you are not comparing apples to apples. How many SEC teams won 10 games? How many of those were ranked top 15?

Sensible post. Anyone who believes this number of early defections will not affect the win-loss record are delusional. We will be asking Freshmen and RS Freshmen to step on the field and play key roles from day one. In my opinion, we went from an experienced, seasoned team with a potential dominant defense poised to make a run at an SEC championship to a rebuilding team fighting for a repeat spot in the Chic Fil-A Bowl.
