Expansion can make regular season matter again

8 teams
5 power 5 champs
3 group champs
8 team drawing would determine seeding, no human opinions involved in process.
This set up would use the 7 biggest bowl games every year.
24 of the teams left out would be selected for 12 bowl games outside of playoffs. Teams would be selected by average ranking of AP and Coaches poll. Strength of schedule would be tie breaker when ties occur.
Teams that don't earn playoff spot or get selected for bowl, get to go home.
19 post season games is plenty.
