My Lord...did you people watch the QB play this year?

We have the #1 JUCO player, QB, coming into the mix...and y'all think that the position is JJ's to LOSE?

WHAT?

Might JJ WIN the job after Spring and Fall...yes. But to say that it's his to LOSE is wrong. IMO...

I think there may be some on the Recruiting Board.

Hey, I wasn't one of the ones who said it was JJ's to lose...I am just saying Miles is going to do things that to most, don't make sense...

Besides, I am cutting you some slack, I am a Rummel grad also...

What are you seeing in mett that causes you yo believe its HIS job to lose next season? Jw

He has been coached by someone who isn't Gary Crowton.

ah so you did...

I think JJ's death grip on the QB spot in 09 def loosened up a bit in 2010, but I think we could have a real QB situation at LSU when mett gets into the mix...

and i'm starting to think he will... but it'll be a giant clusterfrick to keep all three qb's happy...

time will tell

It is his to lose. It is pretty clear that the coaches want JJ to be the guy. The job was "open" in spring and fall but even though Lee was probably better at the beginning of the season JJ still got the start. Maybe it will be different with Mett, but I doubt it.

To them it doesn't matter. LSU is 10-2 and that is the only thing that counts.

Yes, because Mett was not here. Nor was there any other QB that was capable of taking the reigns.

It will be different...trust me.

Rummel,

do you think mett is going to take over the QB spot and start over J lee and jefferson?

I think there is a good chance that he does.

Like I said, I do think he has the talent that could propel him to the spot, but I also think that Les will feel the most pressure he has ever felt once Mett steps on campus. With the QB play that we have gotten the last two years - Les will be leaned on haaaaaaard to get Mett in the game.

I wish we had a rent a win first game of the year instead of Oregon. I just wish Oregon was 2nd or 3rd game.
