anyone would’ve wanted to get as many weekend innings out of both Evans and Cowan as possible before this past weekend which was the purpose of moving one to a starter role.
Cowan’s pitched 40.2 innings so far this year and doubled his runs/earned runs allowed on the season in just 0.2 IP this weekend in our 2 losses. If he was on his typical game this past weekend we win the series and are arguably the #1 team in the country right now.
