11-24 92 yards and a pick. Couldn't get any points when defense handed him the ball on the 30. Hard to argue a freshman would put up that horrible of a stat line.

If that game ruins a kid the kid is not going to be good anyway. Lee wasn't a good qb back then and neither was Harris. They weren't ruined they just weren't very good. We are halfway in. Play Brennan and narcisse and see what they are made of. It's obviously Etling is a bottom sec qb. A good qb and this team could make a run.

Your dumbass comment shows what you know. Etling may not be great, but he plays with way more heart than Jennings and Harris combined. Etling is playing with a freshman line mostly, lesser talent at wr and still plays better than Jennings and harris ever did.

They have 6 games left. DE is a senior - he will be gone after this year. Let him finish out his senior year while Brennan learns. His time is coming. Don't rush it. We've all seen flashes of his play and he will be good. But he still has more to learn.

Your delusional, this team has multiple problems that keeps them from making a "run", (coaching, youth, inferior players at certain positions, etc.), not just on the qb.

I think Jennings was very comparable and we reacted the same. Bad passer, but a good kid and tough as nails. Just limited in talent.
JJ was a whiner and Harris was a head case who made horrible decisions.

Brennan has more positives than etling. The problem is he will make true freshman mistakes that will not only lose games for us, but possibly damage him moving forward. Just isnt worth it moving forward If we are getting blown out or maybe up enough to get him some playing time then I am all for it. Hopefully he is ready to go next year
