It's sad to me that a program that was at the top of the best conference in college football just a few years ago has been reduced To praying for a possible incoming freshman to save us from mediocrity

yeah, I mean stuff like this never happens anywhere.

Call me crazy, but Zach Lee is going to be an LSU Tiger.

I'm crazy this way also. My gut says he wants to experience the college experience. You know he had to have watched Les Miles in the stands in Omaha and all the Chad Jones buzz about winning a NC in baseball and football. LSU and UT are the 2 schools were it is most likely for a kid to see that as a strong possibility, and I just think he wants to do what Chad did once better, as the leader and stud pitcher and the leader and starting QB all at once. I just think that is what he has in his mind, as well as all the hot LSU babes he sees....

I love LSU football and to me it's the engine that drives the entire athletic program. I respect the other sports. I am being selfish but I don't want our QB putting his arm and health at risk throwing a bunch of innings. I am 100% concerned with the football team finding a good QB completely dedicated to football only. The baseball team can find other good pitchers. I don't want this program to be without a solid junior or senior QB. I realize zlee is not just another pitcher. That being said I am selfishly wanting a football only QB. Worst case scenario if a recruit is a dual sport we should stay away from QBs who have to put a ton of stress on their arms throwing a baseball 92 mph. Stick with fielders only.

Are you sure 6 hours (2 classes) is full time? Or is it minimum?? I went to 3 summer schools in my 5 year 175 hour Chem. Eng. program, but even then I usually took a minimum of 9 hours (3 classes). I considered this full time. Even then I'll admit I never knew what was "full" or "minimum" schedule... But maybe times have changed. Info, please... TIA.

I am so totally pulling for Z. Lee staying to play for LSU football (OK, Coach Paul - baseball also) that it's not funny.

Just would like a clarification on what's considered "full time" for summer semester these days.... Ya' know, being an old man and all...... Ha Ha

what does matter is if he is full-time his 5 to play 4 clock begins...this is why I believe whatever he is taking is considered part-time
