Epps Playing time

Maybe I'm missing something here, but when Victor is out of the game why not bring in Epps instead of Malone or Robinson? I know he doesn't really have a "want" to play defense, but Malone and Robinson are equally as bad on the defensive end. At least he gives you something on the offensive end. In honesty I'm just grasping for some tweak to change it up.

If we're going to have Simmons bring the ball up on offense with Victor out the game, we need to try something different down low.
Maybe bring in Epps and a big with Simmons guarding the 3

Davis vs Victor was fantastic. Are you really suggesting Malone or Robinson stopped him from scoring?

Because when Epps played last night he missed his shot on a bad selection play and got abused because he can't guard anyone in man or zone defenses.

I just don't see much of an upgrade on defense from our other post players. Just a thought, maybe it was a bad one. Just keep trying to find some way that we don't look so bad in the future when Victor gets in foul trouble again, but I guess we have what we have down low.

Tyler davis is to big and to skilled for victor, epps, Elbert and goofy.

Epps can't stop anyone unfortunately. The other guys can stop some guys. Davis was obviously too much for them last night. Putting in Epps wasn't going to solve that problem. Unfortunately for LSU, A&M is a bad matchup and we can only use the players we have.
