not bashing, simply noting that this young man should have been helped with his social interaction skills as soon as he stepped on campus. it's the thing that held him back the most at lsu, to be honest.
JJ has made things unnecessarily difficult for himself over the years. It's really a shame that he's seemed to go off on a rather bad note. No sense in piling on.

Miles is the first to blame for the game, and Jefferson is a very close second. You do not bash your teammates on National TV for your miscues, you take responsibility, step up and be a leader. He started off the game not reading plays correctly or executing plays, he will never admit to it, he will continue to say his team let him down.

Umm I agree he has an inflated view of himself from his quotes telling everyone how well he has played the last 2 years to his superman impersonations.
I also still wonder how he was graded in the film room the JJ curve must be massive for him not to realize how bad his play is not in one or two games but roughly 9 or 10 of the last 19 games he started.
His biggest enemy was himself and he refused to make any effort to change that and reaped what he sowed!

He was running for his life because the line was compleately dominated. The coaching staff did nothing to help him.

He's a Tiger, NOT an a-hole.

And not once, ever, did he ever accept responsibility for his mistakes, on field or off. Even worse, he openly blamed others, including teammates.
THIS!!

I say end this thread. He sucked. We would have been much better off had we had JL and ZM for the whole year.

Brocephus, he didnt help us go 13 and 0. if jefferson would have started, the earlier games, I can guarantee losses to at least Oregon And West Virginia.

How can you guarantee that? You can see backwards in time?

Most of the fan base knew JJ was not a very good QB. Only Les Miles and a few retards who post here thought differently. It's all on Les Miles. He alone made the decision to play JJ exclusively.
I never understood why Miles stubbornly stuck with JJ last year when his play was just horrible. No, JL was not perfect by any means and had some bad performances, but without him we would have lost a couple more games last year. When Miles declared that this year's team was JJ's and how much JJ had improved, I was skeptical. No way JL was going to see the field unless JJ was suspended. We actually had an offense with rhythm with JL. When JJ came back it was 2010 all over again. JL is not great--I am not saying that. Hell, I would liked to have seen more of Mett. I just don't see handing the keys to JJ. It is almost like Miles sees JJ's abilities and "skillset" differently than many.

JJ had plenty of pockets to throw the ball in. Problem is dude doesn't know how to pull the damn trigger and when he finally does it takes him 2 seconds to wind up.

Not to mention JJ lacks pocket presence and has no clue how to move around in the pocket to buy time other than just taking off. Except for taking off then throwing the pass to Ware's back

In every game the pass rush is going to get to the QB. I saw numerous time where JJ had at least 3 seconds to get rid of the ball and had the TE or a WR wide open down the field. Asking for more than 3 seconds is asking a lot from any OL against any defense.
Yes he was pressured but JJ had an opportunity to make some plays down field and he just did not do it.

Yep. There were receivers open a few times but it takes him too long to read and too long to get the ball there.

Like it or not, he definately helped beat Bama on Nov. 5th. My point is simply that it serves no purpose in bashing him or any player on the team.

So is RP, JR, Booty, Howard, Collins, etc and they are not above criticism and abuse of this board

No one of significance gave him an offer. We would have been better without him.

You might want to explain this to JJ as well. He is the only player I have seen blaming his teamates and telling everyone how well he played!
