Does he have a go fund me page started? Surely we can raise enough $ to get them some tickets and if we don't he can have my 2 from my 10 year old son and I. I can't imagine what he or his son is going through. Prayers and let us all know!

People we love matter most. No doubt good perspective and nice of y'all to do. Because what also matters more than having "stuff" is having experiences and memories. And this game will be that regardless of what happens.

Really sorry to hear about your friend. Be prepared for the worst. Pancreatic Cancer killed my father 11 months after diagnosis, even with the Whipple surgery & chemo

I'm sorry to hear about your father. I'm hoping whipple can buy me some time. Pancreatic cancer is the worst killer. Less than 1 percent live 5 years after diagnosis. If I can get whipple my chances could be as high as 25 percent to reach 5 years. Before I started treatment my dr said he was going to try to buy me a year. That figure may have gone up a lot since they found out it was localized. It depends on whether we can shrink it enough with chemo and radiation.

I can't believe that whipple didn't buy him more time.

Just a follow up note to say that what you did for your friend's son is a beautiful thing. It sounds like that boy will very soon - too soon - lose his father. But he will ALWAYS have the magical night - November 3, 2018 - where he and his father could forget about the cancer, scream for their Tigers and ASSIST IN THE GREATEST VICTORY IN THE HISTORY OF LSU FOOTBALL!

You make us proud to be Tigers, MsGulfCoastTigerFan. Here's to you

My sister in law had a brain tumor and lived 11 months. We miss her a lot. God bless you for what you are doing. As for we being the lucky ones. Well that kinda depends on your Faith. Thanks for trying to do something good for this man. I know he will appreciate it.
