This is key. We have had good scheme under Chavis but execution has been lacking. This is where I think Steele and O will help.

I was kinda bummed about the hire yesterday but I feel better today. The Clemson guy they interviewed today on AFR made me feel better. Said the main thing was talent. Clemson recruited improved BIG TIME when he was there but he was out before those guys came up. We have talent in place and I think he will succeed. If nothing else it seems like he wants to be aggressive. We've lacked that lately.

Both guys expressed wanting to be aggressive a couple of times at the presser.

Something we for sure need to get back.

I have thought for the past couple years that it is criminal that we don't blitz more aggressively and find ways to get the athletes that we have all over the field in on the QB.

We used to safety blitz, send LBs on stunts and sugar blitzes, bring pressure off the corner..... but for the past few years it feels like we never did.
