The SEC tourney was an ESPN production that was picked up by COX/CSS/Fox Sports, notice the graphics that were used were ESPN, therefore ESPN can do what they want with it. In this case, COX/Their sponsors are footing the bill so they would want cash from ESPN to give them the rights to air it I assume.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but did LSU put the regionals on GeauxZone last year for free? I'm thinking they did because I watched them and they were only on Cox.
ETA: Nevermind, I found the article and they did. Maybe they can work something out again.

We were able to stream it on our website last year because we provided a feed of our video boards. Since we are not the home team we cannot do that this year. I suggest you check at ncaasports.com to see which regional games they will be streaming.
