Since nobody wants to bring it up, what is Will Wade going to do with all this no professional players on rosters now?
The SEC prohibits member schools from rostering any athlete who has:

(1) Signed a contract with the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NBA G-League, or affiliated professional teams.

(2) Been listed on a professional league's active or training roster.

(3) Declared for the NFL, NBA, or WNBA draft without properly withdrawing.

Pros from overseas do not fall within any of the prohibitions.

Pros from foreign leagues are not prohibited . . . yet.

It’s mid-September. Imo, you would think that discussions have already been had with the SEC office and it’s a negative. Wade not bringing it up publicly by now tells you all you need to know.

Professional basketball players from europe are still amateurs didn’t you know that? There were over 90 playing last year alone, legally without going to court.
American ex pro players are excluded.
