Me and a fried along with others we sat with during several games that season and a few more afterwards. Bottle of bourboun or scatch, pipe, and sharing.

I wasn't there but that was my first year watching. I probably wouldn't have cared that much if my cousin was not on the team, been an LSU die hard ever since.

And cell phones were car-mounted or bag phones.

Was there sitting in the same seats I sit in now, in North End Zone. Hodson to Fuller!

Just to put this game today in perspective, very similar situation except Auburn's defense was as good that year as their offense is this year. Which, is why that win was so huge.

East side close to north end zone. Loved the Auburn fan who smashed his binoculars when we scored to win.

From my seat with the band I had a perfect view of the catch in the back of the endzone!

In the subsequent eruption of celebration I thought for sure I was going to get launched down about 10 rows...didn't care there were plenty of people to land on.

Sitting in student section of north end zone with my friend Bill P. We thought the seats sucked until Fuller caught Hodson's pass RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!

That was my junior year and it seems like it was only yesterday.
