If you live or lived on Bayou Lafourche, you would know why he was caught by the lineman. Have to remember, college players were not paid back then either

One of my fondest memories. Me and some friends sold peanuts as little kids and I can remember getting the oranges and selling them back to the students. When chief osceola planted the spear at midfield it was almost as if he ensured an arse whooping b/c the fans and players were not happy.
