He was a clown in highschool (in a good way, his vine and insta always had me laughing)

Seems very athletic and a nose for the ball. Also is built fairly well and looks bigger than he is. I think he'll contribute every year he's here.

high on a Duke. He's stuck behind a lot of depth, but think he should be outstanding his Junior and Senior year.

A tackling machine, will knock someone out on ST this year.

Hello K Freakin G, My man! Maybe the best in here.

Im just starting to bet the futures and thinking this Tiger squad is as Hungry as I can remember, including the coaches. If we get good QB play?...

Riley will win a job next year, imho. Of course, thats assuming Alexander leaves.
LL better watch that step, altho I really like him as well.
KG are U going to Houston?

Theres no doubt he will play some D and be a beast on ST's. Thats a given. When LSU first offered him, I wasnt expecting much from him, outside of ST's but he has caught my attention, similar to Juice, when he was a youngster.

Im asking will he be an All SEC player?

A. All SEC ( at least 3rd team)
B. Quality starter
C Back up quality contributor
D None of the above

From Paul crewe:

Read at the end about Riley. He's gained weight. Good sign.

quote:

John Chavis has challenged his linebackers to be more physical and most of them have added weight since last season.
Kwon Alexander is nine pounds heavier at 6-foot-2, 227 pounds.

Deion Jones checked in at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds after playing last year at 208.

Speed is a big part of Lamar Louis’ game and it will be interesting to see if he still has that speed after adding 13 pounds to get up to 229 pounds at 5-foot-11.

Beckwith worked to keep the weight off and he lost a pound to get down to 245 pounds at 6-foot-2.

The biggest thing John

Chavis wanted Duke Riley to do was get bigger and stronger. After weighing 208 pounds as a true freshman, Riley is now listed at 6-foot-1, 218 pounds.

You're a good special teams player Duke. Keep up your pump action game.

With Moffitt saying this team is in the best shape hes seen at LSU, and Les saying this is the fastest team hes had... I think its def reasonable to suggest that this team is super hungry. The 2011 team had that attitude as well. Just a nasty, in your face all game long attitude.

And I dont think we need a QB to throw for 2500 yards and 20+TDs. It would be awesome if that happens, dont get me wrong. We just need a guy that is efficient, takes care of the football, and gets the ball to our playmakers. We dont need these QBs to press and put it all on their shoulders. They dont need to win the game for us, they just dont need to lose the game. And I think Cameron will take it slow with these guys and wont put too much on their plate. You dont want a QB that is overwhelmed and head spinning.

I dont see RIley jumping anyone next year though. I see him joining them and being part of the rotation. But I dont think he jumps Debo, LL, Beckwith (if on the outside). I have high hopes for Debo and thinks he breaks out this year. And Chavis loves LL and has been grooming him since he got to campus. Hes had him play every LB position so he knows each spot because, athletically, hes able to play all 3 spots for us. But I do think Riley will join them though, and be part of the starting rotation and see plenty of PT.

Right now, Ill go with a quality starter. But, if he improves some, adds more weight, etc he could have the chance to be an All SEC guy. Hes very fast and very aggressive, and those are 2 things you cant coach. He has that.

I thought I was, but my tickets fell through The guy I usually get them from is a good family friend and rarely goes to games, but hes taking his wife and some customers to this game since its in Houston. No biggie though... Ill be watching it with good people, hot women, good drinks, and great food. Cant beat that

Mike and Will LB's are needed as much as we need DE's this year.
