It would be awesome if those three guys could come to NOLA before mini camp and have drew work with them for a couple of weeks. I mean I see the guy teach eight year olds in Audubon park frequently. He could probably take the time with our eight year olds.

Being a Purdue alum and growing up in Austin, TX......I'm sure Drew Brees could give two shits about what goes on in Baton Rouge or anything outside of the Superdome for that matter.

Why would he have gone on ESPN for Gameday and put on an purple coat? The guy has adopted this state and he is willing to help where ever he can.

Ehh I think it would be cool if he did something like this. I mean the guy is a Christian, I'm sure he could make time to help a few young players develop. But would the ath. dept. ever set this up? prolly not...

He also said during that same Gameday that it was his first time on LSU's campus. He don't give two shite's about LSU.

Uhhh I recall his Twitter account saying something along the lines of Penn State representing the Big 10 well after they beat LSU... Soooo, I doubt he'll go out of his way to help out LSU...

I know if I was a QB of say Seattle and they embraced me like NOLA did to Drew I still wouldnt go to UW and be like, yo I'll help out... F That.

I may get bashed but oh well... Drew Brees can't teach intelligence, and i think that's what JJ is lacking more than anything else... He always looks so dam confused on the field...

To support the original poster's statement and ATTEMPT to refute the dumbazzes... Brees was on WWL-870 earlier this week saying how Manning came to work with him while he was at Purdue. Brees couldn't believe at the time that Manning would even acknowledge who he was.

I mean, why would a New Orleanian who played at Tennessee care about someone who plays at Purdue? Because he and Brees are both classy.

It could happen. I'm sure he appreciated whatever Manning did for him and would no doubt be willing to put out the same effort for our QB's.

Drew Brees should take Garrett, Jefferson, and Shepherd in.

1) it's Jefferson, Lee and Garrett. Barring injuries Shep will never start at qb for LSU.

2) there are two guys who will probably retire from the league this year who would make ourstanding qb coaches. can you say Farve? can you say Warner?

3) Brees will have a full plate the next couple of years...LSU needs a qb coach who can instill the mindset and teach the mechanics right now.
